Le Mazet, an estate specialising in the cultivation of medicinal plants, is located in Monoblet, above Saint-Hippolyte-du-Fort, in the foothills of the Cévennes, at an altitude of 450 m. A 17th century mansion and silkworm house benefit from an environment of remarkable beauty. The plants are grown organically on 10 hectares of restored terraces, harvested in the wild, surrounded by holm oaks and chestnut trees. Alleys and rest areas allow visitors to appreciate the beauty of the cultures and to enrich their knowledge of the simple. An educational garden is open to the public where each plot is identified by a sign giving the name of the plant, its origin, history, cultivation method and a description of its health benefits. Visitors can buy herbal teas, organic plant drinks, essential oils, medicinal plants, cosmetics, etc. at the shop on site.

A fuir surtout à 8 euros l'entrée.
