Since 1988 and for three generations, Nîmes' most Asian restaurant has been offering its customers excellent value for money, in a colorful setting. Nîmes locals and tourists, with or without children, in search of authentic, quality Vietnamese cuisine will find it all at La Baie d'Halong. All dishes are made from fresh ingredients and to order! Even if you're lucky enough to find a seat on the terrace in summer, remember to book in advance! Takeaway service available. Warm, friendly service.

We, 3 adults, ate there. The owner is typically Asian and very polite. Starter dimplings, main course duck, chicken and fish.
Especially the duck meat tasted very unusual and not at all like duck and also not cross. There were 4-5 very thin slices, like having ham cut at the butcher. So the quality, quantity and taste were clearly poor. All three of us rated the meal as a disaster. But we found the rice order particularly brazen. You have to order the rice separately and pay extra for it. So we ordered rice for 3 people. We were served a shallow bowl with 10 spoons of rice. So little rice that we lost the joy of eating at the latest then. The poor quality of the food, especially the duck meat, the small quantity of food and the outrageously high price for it, we give it a failing grade. We will certainly not eat there again.
