Hard to go on this small street which, in its time, hosted an excellent pizzeria, whose amateurs still remember. Il Palermo left the place at Veneziano, Sicily in Veneto. The young and friendly welcome, the pizzaïolo acrobatics and the low prices attract the young people who celebrate Victor Hugo. Lasagna or truffles are honourable, but the choice of pasta is always limited. In the entrées of starters, the meats do not come all of the studios or the famous Italian grocery store of Escutcheon, but the roulé of raw ham or ham marinated with juniper berries are to be tested. Pizza question, they are copious and provided (you can even win the rest if you have too much!). Desserts are good: panacotta, tiramitsu or, more original, bunet, chocolate cake, with amaretto and bitter almonds. Marco also holds Le Tango, the restaurant opposite, with specialities of fresh pasta and Piedmont cuisine.

very good real pizzas that feel Italy but expensive
I saw the previous opinion and I can understand it. For my part I less demanding regarding hygiene, so I did not pay attention to it.

This restaurant has a pleasant surprise, we took a menu " découverte" and everything is good, tasty and fresh.
My only disappointment was dessert, strawberry cut, I do not see what it had to discover.

Interesting specialties.
August 8th, 2011, we chose this restaurant in the small rue Thoumayne, 2 pas des Arènes and just opposite the Daudet school. We were 6 people, Neapolitan chef himself rossa about - a little theatrical way, us to find an extra table, which we liked.
After an aperitif in Spritz (speciality of Venice, which is helped with an olive normally), our choices were made on a Milanese escalope, calzones, and pizzas. Pasta pizza had to charm more require lovers; flexible and good solid. Fresh ingredients and well-proportioned. Good criticism stops, i.e when we found elements undesirable, translating a deplorable hygiene into cuisine: clamp piece of plastic, pieces of paper aluminium and cellophane, and a piece of cypress! The waiter, after spoken to the chef, certified us that everything was normal and that it was not serious. Intolerable for our part, the owner came at the end of the meal (needless to say had cut us the appetite). Being bilingual, we informed him although we thought of its own restaurant. The meal was given to us free of charge, but nicely said us to relax. Despite the quality of the dishes, we are obliged to give an unfavourable touch to this fabric litter.
