Restaurant serving simple desserts and offering a good selection of Sicilian and Italian wines
The brothers Fabio and Salvo Mercadante, have given their name to their restaurant since 2009. The antipasti are worth a visit: sardines Beccafico (sardine fillets with pine nuts and raisins), caponata (aubergines with olives and capers) grigliata di verdure (grilled fresh vegetables). The Sicilian products are spicy: baked anelletti (pasta with Bolognese sauce), black spaghetti with squid ink, breaded veal and grilled vegetables. Desserts are simple: iced ricotta dome with dark chocolate. Good selection of Sicilian and Italian wines.

We arrived in Nimes and were a bit lost. We found this little gem by accident. A lovely girl approached us and seated us, explained the menu. From that very moment we knew we’d come back. Everything was perfect. We ate the best crème brûlée and espresso. The next couple of days we returned for dinner the warm welcome another beautiful time. Food & wine delicious. Thank you Fabio & Violet. I wish this restaurant was in Australia. It would be so amazing! ????????
