On this Place square, which opens like a theatre on General-Citéa Street, the restaurants are side by side and maintain good quality. Close to the shops. In any case, for Olivier Gerber, the likeable boss of Délicafé, it is obvious: all basic ingredients come from the covered market: meat from Lozere, seasonal vegetables, cheeses. Different formulas: unique dishes (veal or turkey steak, chopped steak, beef tartar, often accompanied by skipped potatoes - not frozen!) but also original salted pies and large gourmet salads (homemade specialty), recipes of vegetables, haddock with Parmesan, haddock of a green salad, all for a simple meal that keeps the body. A small neighbourhood bistro, where it is very pleasant as soon as it is nice breakfast on the terrace. In the summer, the place is especially animated for Thursdays of Nîmes. The délicafé is then open in the evening.
