An unassuming little store in the Rue de l'Aspic, a stone's throw from the Place du Marché. It's impossible not to be impressed by the starters: an assortment of salads and homemade products. Then it's on to the main courses: fish and meat according to the day's arrivals, as well as local specialties such as gardiane de taureau, brandade de morue or pâté nîmois; before moving on to desserts of the same ilk. At attractive prices, La Fourchette, medallist in the Gard Gourmand competition, is part of the department's Militants du Goût initiative.
