L'ARDOISE
In a small traverse of which the Patch has the secret, between the Places aux Herbes and the Places de l'Horloge, the trendy and friendly Ardoise has found the right formula for the modern bistro: an airy room, attention to detail (oil and vinegar sprayers on the tables), music, a relaxed welcome... A break in the tea room, at any time of the day, pasta or pastry service (on site or to take away). Lunch and dinner: menus with a strong taste for meat and dishes that stick to the body. The chickpeas with herbs served as a starter give you time to choose: a large number of assortments appear on the four slates. A mix of regional and traditional dishes, the menu varies according to the seasons. The proximity of the Etal Marseillais and Les Halles does not allow for frozen food. The wine list, which is not very well developed, nevertheless offers an interesting sample of local production. The emphasis on tapas accentuates the young and dynamic side. And the counter is very well frequented.
