Bar-tobacco-brasserie with view on the big esplanade in Nîmes

An institution since 1870. This bar-restaurant overlooking the esplanade, next to the Arena, offers a first floor dedicated to catering as well as a 40-seat room that can be privatized. You can enjoy daily menus made with fresh produce, including beef, grilled octopus, cod en croûte, double cheeseburger, grilled entrecôte, salmon gravelax, tuna tataki and burrata, as well as pastries made by the chef, a passion fruit mango bavarois and the traditional mille-feuille.

90% des bières à la carte n'étaient pas disponibles et plus de verres (gobelets en carton à la place), alors que la moitié des tables étaient vides (et avec des verres en verre). Je ne savais pas qu'un jour je mettrais une étoile après juste avoir pris un verre dans une brasserie

(Traduit par Google) Frites froides (en France ?!!!), salade césar au poulet mariné au curry, cette « réinterprétation » insolite n'était pas précisée dans le menu. La laitue dans la salade était loin d'être fraîche et croquante. Le bol avec les frites était même tout huileux et poussiéreux à l'extérieur. C'est un NON.

Cold fries (in France?!!!), caesar salad with chicken marinated in curry - this unusual “reinterpretation” was not specified in the menu. Lettuce in the salad was far from fresh and crunchy. The bowl with the fries was even all oily and dusty on the outside. It’s a NO.
