ATELIERS DE NÎMES
Guillaume, Anthony and Werner embarked on a somewhat acrobatic venture in 2016: making jeans made in France, and even 100% Nîmes, to pay tribute to their city, the cradle of the famous denim canvas. Like Rome, which was not built in a day, the three young men take the time to take up this challenge with an ultra-local anchoring. While waiting to acquire the looms that would allow them to produce their own canvas in Nîmes (a successful participatory financing in May 2018 should help the machine to progress during the year), the three entrepreneurs are using some of the best manufacturers in Italy. The same applies to the assembly, which is currently being relocated to Marseille or Paris, due to the lack of a workshop with sufficient strength on site to produce jeans. However, the collections are well and truly designed in Nîmes, and the brand's logo, a crocodile chained to a palm tree, has perfectly imitated the city's coat of arms since the 16th century. The Ateliers de Nîmes offer models for men or women, of very good quality, available in about thirty shops in France and abroad.
