GALERIE DE L’ASPIC
Set on a very shopping street in Escutcheon, this gallery, at the large, inviting stained glass bays, is just steps away from the bullring. Here, the regional painters are represented exclusively. Landscapes, bullfighting, romanité, evocative Provence are the favourite subjects. A pictorial fund provided by artist Juan Benito, whose portraits of Seen in traditional costume supplemented a work strongly inspired by the taurin medium. The collection increases the paintings of Michel Gilles, disappeared recently, from Gizi and Trani, while temporary exhibitions, always of regional artists, allow to discover the extent of Mediterranean creativity.
