More than a gallery where works are sold, this unusual workshop is an associative area, a place of contemporary art where the work of the creator is shown. In this respect, Watch is one of the few places in Nîmes to propose a real residence. Kind of artist nursery, it allows immersion in the world of the young creation in march (not to mention the school of Fine arts, of course). In this former-storey post hotel, the multiplicity of small whitewashed studios serves as workshops. But works, often created in situ, can be painted directly on the walls. La Watch proposes to the artist to confront this unusual place of art, to the collective work. Explosive encounters, in a gallery that resembles a squat of artists. Opening of the gallery only in the afternoon and special reception for schools, welcome here. Another idea of contemporary art.
