FNAC
At the heart of Les Halles, Fnac steadfastly resists the traffic crisis in the mall. This place is, and it is magical, an ideal stroll, where several generations peacefully come into contact with books, comic strips, DVDs, CDs… In short, culture. The youngest ones come to discover the latest mangas, the new comics and if they settle in the radius to read a little piece, nobody tells them anything. Those who do not find their happiness are ordering and, rather quickly, a message warns them that their selection has arrived. On disk, Fnac opened its bins to all musical genres, influences and even to local formations. It is regrettable, however, that the classical radius shortens regularly. One can only rejoice that Fnac exists in the city centre of Nîmes because, besides being a commercial place - and this is its very function - it has become one of the main reasons for Les Halles which, without it, would have difficulty surviving. It is not a socialisation area (we talk relatively little about it), but it is a living place.
