A family bookstore, where the love of books, words and ideas passes from generation to generation. Vincent Tessier, supported by his brother Pierre, took over the torch and maintained the identity of this place where the book is not considered to be a consumer commodity but as a beautiful, strong object whose reach has no price. Vincent, when he advises, patiently listens, knows what he speaks. He knows perfectly well the books and authors on sale in his bookstore. He has chosen them and it is not for nothing, the spirit far away from purely commercial promotions. And yet, like everybody else, he has to run his little universe. He can live only reading and fresh water… But, above all, he insists that the Teissier bookshop remains a living place that brings knowledge and happiness. It organises, regularly, literary presentations in the presence of the authors, which are rather nice, sometimes funny, which transcend the road of this pedestrian street, which has long ceased to surprise itself.
