The Café de Paris has changed ownership and decoration several times, but the well calibrated formula for a young audience remains the same. Relatively quiet in week, the place turns on the weekend evenings in real disco with order services at the entrance. All of this festive public flow is far over the boulevard. The bar of the Café de Paris broadcasts a general music (rock, house, disco) and competition Victor Hugo in the level of attendance and decibels… which caused the wrath of the voisinnage. A district collective has even created to ask the prefecture what it considers to be repeated noise nuisance. Race results, compulsory closure of all bars at 1 am. A schedule restriction applicable to everyone - except some quieter bars that were able to get the 2 h derogation.
