For a weekend, the city of Nîmes activates the time machine to take us back to Roman times.
For more than ten years, the Journées Romaines de Nîmes have been plunging the city into ancient times! For three days in the arena, over 600 extras take part in stunning historical reconstructions, illustrating life in Roman times. In the city center, parades and entertainment punctuate the festival for five days. Each year, a new theme introduces visitors to Antiquity in a fun and educational way. A truly spectacular immersive event!
