The Nîmes Arena is a must-see cultural monument during your stay in the city. Built around 100 AD, they are considered the best-preserved amphitheatre of the Roman Empire. Unlike the Colosseum in Rome, the Nîmes Arena has been preserved and converted into a residential area, allowing visitors to explore its arena, stands, interior galleries and arcades.
