Located in the west of Nîmes, the Carémeau Hospital Regroupe gathers on two buildings (North/South) all surgical services, for short and medium hospital stays. A huge complex, with high-tech infrastructure, has advanced services, functional rehabilitation, psychiatry, addictologie, women-children, geriatrics (Ruffi Centre). A welcome for emergencies and a university centre complement the whole. As part of an improvement in patient care, the CHU nîmois has two major real estate projects underway: a future medical care home (MMG), which takes over the medical cabinets, the evening and the weekend, and the creation of a centre of psychiatry, in addition to the reconstruction of the Grau-du-Roi rehabilitation centre.
