MEDIATHEQUE MARC-BERNARD
Located in the Pissevin district, Nîmes-West, this library is named after the Nîmois writer Marc Bernard. He received the Prix Goncourt in 1942 for his novel Tel to children. The two floors are home to the library and a resource centre on literature for youth, mainly for teachers and educators. Very popular with young people in the Pissevin-Valdegour district, the library gathers books, audio cds, including a very good collection of contemporary music, music dvds, documentaries, fiction and youth films. The minothèque is reserved for children from 6 months (!), a training space, a projection room, a digital public space with computer accompaniments, multimedia, job search.
