The Natural History Museum in Nîmes, France, covers all areas of natural science in four themes

This museum is built around a cloister and the Jesuit chapel. Ranked 6th nationally, it brings together collections brought back by explorer E. Dumas, then botanist J-F Séguier (1770). In addition to temporary exhibitions, all fields of natural science are covered under 4 themes: Geology (southern France) - Prehistory (statue-menhirs) - Ethnography (African art) - Zoology (naturalized animals showing the evolution of species).

Sehr anschauliche Sammlung, gut präsentiert und auch beschrieben. Es hat Freude gemacht, dieses Museum zu besuchen. Der Eintritt für 5 € pro Person ist gerechtfertigt. Als Naturfreund und naturwissenschaftlich Interessierter kann ich die schlechten Bewertungen nicht verstehen.

J’adore ce musée, très intéressant, des expos variées, mon fils adore également. De plus il a un côté un peu vieillot qui me plaît, c’est personnel mais c’est ce qui fait aussi que j’aime à y revenir.
