The Natural History Museum in Nîmes, France, covers all areas of natural science in four themes
This museum is built around a cloister and the Jesuit chapel. Ranked 6th nationally, it brings together collections brought back by explorer E. Dumas, then botanist J-F Séguier (1770). In addition to temporary exhibitions, all fields of natural science are covered under 4 themes: Geology (southern France) - Prehistory (statue-menhirs) - Ethnography (African art) - Zoology (naturalized animals showing the evolution of species).

A faire avec des enfants

Je suis allée voir l exposition sur louis pasteur. C était formidable au musée d histoire naturelle de Nîmes. Nous avions un guide très compétent, gentil à l'écoute de son auditoire , et répondant à toutes les questions posées. Je vous invite à vous y rendre, n hésiter à le suivre vendredi prochain pour vous promener dans toute la ville de Nîmes, pour vous donner des explications sur la géologie de celle ci. venez nombreux à partir de 10h au musée d histoire naturelle. Merci monsieur pour votre professionnalisme.

Musée très intéressant. La galerie des animaux empaillés a été très appréciée ainsi que l’exposition Louis Pasteur. Ça vaut le coup d’œil !
Le musée est cependant assez petit et la visite ne dure pas très longtemps.
