A real green lung of the city, French gardens and spaces centered on the source of Nemausa
The Gardens of the Fountain, a true green lung of the city, extend their 106,309m2 at the foot of Mount Cavalier and the Magne Tower. A beautiful example of French-style gardens, these spaces are centered on the Nemausa spring. Already laid out by the Romans in the 1st century BC, Louis XV restored grandeur to these gardens. The Mediterranean essences rub shoulders with the numerous marble statues, and the Temple of Diana makes it the most romantic place in Nîmes.
