Maison Chamoin, a butcher's and delicatessen, has taken up residence at the foot of the Château de Portes, much to the delight of the surrounding area. Its processing laboratory is in the basement, and the menu is resolutely based on delicious meat. Simple, regional cuisine, you'll love the charcuterie platter, the traditional aligot sausage dish or the hearty burgers. Both the dining room and the terrace are large and friendly, making for an excellent group experience. The place is also a bar and bakery, and sells charcuterie and cheeses all week long.
