Running in the middle of the vineyards? This is the concept of the Foulée des Vignerons, an event held on the last weekend of November in Rochefort-du-Gard to celebrate the Côtes Du Rhône Primeur. On the programme, a race through the vineyards (10.5 kilometres all the same), local products to taste during the refreshments, wine tasting (after the race of course)... A very nice weekend that shows that sport and alcohol are not (completely) incompatible.
