LES VIGNERONS DE ROQUEMAURE
In a corner of the Rhône hills, a region truly blessed by the gods for the maturing of great wines, the cooperative cellar of the Vignerons de Roquemaure is doing well... while respecting the customer's wallet. As proof, the gold medals on the last vintages (2017) which rewarded the Cru - Lirac, Saint-Valentin or the Cru - Lirac, Tradition. Every year, the cellar brings out its famous Valentine's wine, which is a perfect accompaniment to the town's costume festival. Created in 1922, the winery is part of the terroir of Lirac, an old and honourable appellation, which is finally attracting investors. Grenache noir, syrah, mourvèdre and cinsault make up the reds and rosés. Grenache blanc, clairette, viognier or picpoul give the whites what they need in terms of roundness and fruit to offer balanced and discursive wines. The more classic Côtes-du-Rhône wines are good holding. As far as IGP Gard wines are concerned, the offer, with an excellent price-quality ratio, allows you to discover different chardonnay, sauvignon or merlot wines without going broke. An address to remember as much for the good behaviour of the fountains as for the modern packaging of the bag-in-box.
