LES ROCKTAMBULES
While it is true that open-air rock festivals have become more and more fashionable in recent years, the small Cévennes commune of Rousson did not wait for the others, as it celebrated the twenty-second edition of Rocktambules in 2019. Each year, over three days, this small but rather confidential festival, which is very good for children, brings together about twenty rock bands, mainly rock, but also ska, contemporary French chanson and punk. Of course, most of these groups are from the region, but it's also a bias on the part of this happy band of volunteers to show that there are some very good musicians in the Cévennes too! Rest assured, however, there are always one or two national rock bands headlining... A small festival that holds its own, in short, and will always be able to introduce you to local talents who, one day, who knows, may well become national stars of the genre....
