A museum with a strong educational character, located in Rousson, offering lectures and experimental archaeology workshops.
In this small, highly educational museum, run by enthusiasts, visitors wander between reconstructed scenes and landscapes, animated by life-size characters and animals, including a magnificent mammoth and the famous Lucy, the common ancestor of mankind. The paleontological and archaeological discoveries on which these scenes are based are also on display. The program includes lectures and experimental archaeology workshops, such as prehistoric meal-making, flintknapping and propulsor-shooting exercises.
