Gastronomic restaurant offering a sharp and tasty menu in Sabran
This incredible estate had been closed for four years. Bought by Jürg Witmer in 2016, it is now back and managed by his son-in-law Rolf Bertschi and his wife. Following this change of hands, the establishment has undergone a number of renovations and improvements, all of which have been very appreciable. Montcaud Castle now has 29 rooms from 25 to 45 m² in the castle itself and its annexes. Within its walls, there is also a large park planted with trees, a bistro, as well as a gastronomic restaurant since autumn 2018. The latter is led with virtuosity by the young chef Matthieu Hervé. After several years as a sous-chef in great starred restaurants, the chef is taking off and creating a sharp and tasty menu that has not finished seducing the customers of the house.
