DOMAINE LA RÉMÉJEANNE
You have to take the time to climb up to Cadignac, but the result is worth it. The best way to reach it as quickly as possible is to take the road that passes through Tresques, Le Pin, Pougnadoresse and Cavilllargues. And now you're not far off. Thanks to hard work, a well-chosen terroir and grape varieties, manual picking and sorting, Rémy Klein has managed to make a name for himself in the region. Exposed in terraces facing east and east-south-east, at an altitude of between 200 and 300 metres, the vineyard extends over 38 hectares and benefits from an excellent terroir of cracked limestone sandstone and calcareous clay. With small yields (some 15 to 25 hl/ha), Rémy makes true wines that do not suffer the effect of fashion; his Côtes du Rhône cuvées are named after a shrub. An address to find out if you haven't already.
