DOMAINE ROUGE GARANCE
Actor or winegrower, Jean-Louis Trintignant never does things by halves. When he teamed up with Claudie and Bertrand Cortellini in 1996, he clearly knew what he was getting into. The result lives up to the artist's reputation and has built the reputation of the estate and its associates. Supple, round, long on the palate wines that meet all the current criteria of pleasure in moderation. Designed by Enki Bilal, the bird label hides the treasures of a serious terroir, pushed here to its maximum. A white shaped in equal parts of four quarters, between roussanne, marsanne, viognier and white grenache, with accents of white flowers and pear. A "basic" Côtes du Rhône red dominated by syrah accompanied by grenache and mourvèdre, with flavours of morello cherry and liquorice. Cinsault brings liveliness to the Syrah-dominated rosé. A red table wine and a light rosé. Finally, in terms of excellence, the cuvée les Saint-Pierre can be kept for a few years in the cellar to express all its aromatic potential, made up of mineral and resinous notes. It should be noted that since 2010, the wine has been labelled Organic Agriculture by Ecocert.
