DOMAINE DE L'AQUEDUC
Mr Vidal, who comes from a winemaking family, manages this family estate like a quasi-priesthood. A work in a great respect of the vine, treatments in a reasoned way, green harvests in order to limit the production and also to produce wines of a great power and aromatic complexity. In AOP Duché d'Uzès, the Grand Chêne cuvée, with a predominance of viognier, offers an aromatic complexity, a fresh floral attack in the mouth, a rapid explosion of exotic fruits, a subtlety of liquorice and a buttery finish rather than cocoa butter. La Garrigue de Bornègre is also a cuvée with a dominant Syrah, Mourvèdre and Grenache, matured in oak barrels, a rendering of silky tannins and fullness on notes of red fruits, scents of thyme and laurel. A wine that will happily accompany a game or a bull herd.
Numerous events, concerts and tastings are organised at the estate to help amateurs discover it.
