The commune has seven megaliths, witnesses of a human presence in its territory at the end of the Neolithic. The best known is the menhir of the Col de Pierre Lever. Another menhir or dolmen would be nearby. three other menhirs are erected at the Col du, Cayrel between Saint-Roman-de-Codières and Cros, including Pierre aux Fées to whom a rite of female fertility is attributed. Less than a kilometer from there, we also find the Pierre des Druids, called Broussier; finally, the menhir of the Col des Fosses, mégalithe shot and mutilated, is found on the route of the former la of transhumance.
