Vestige of the former medieval castle, it was refurbished and deeply refurbished in 1838. On the occasion of this work, the archers left room for modern openings and the summit of the tower rose from small arcades in pink brick which gave it this arabizing touch, probably responsible for the name «sarrasine tower». Measuring (after restoration) 22 meters high, it is almost square. The part that corresponds about the first two floors is built in a beautiful regular apparatus, rustic with no smooth, dating back to the second half of the twelfth century or the first half of xiiith.
