A chapel was built in the 17th century in this ancient Neolithic cave. It was Joseph Queyranne, in 1647, who saw a marble Madonna appear in a hole in the cave. The Archbishop ordered the creation of this chapel to come on pilgrimage. Several miracles were then recorded and a hermitage was built. Hikers will appreciate the beauty of the trails used.
