Owner's Message
Today, Vincent and his wife Sophie, having spent fifteen years abroad in the hotel and restaurant business, feel privileged to return home to Sauve to create a place for sharing: Le comptoir de l'Evèsque.
It's a new challenge for this couple with a passion for the hotel business, who are putting at your disposal the ideas and experiences they enjoyed during their travels in Costa Rica and Andalusia, where they worked as restaurant owners.
This new restaurant near Sauve is decorated in the elegant style of a bistrot-atelier, inspired by the bouchon lyonnais, and features a large metal glass door that gives a glimpse of the chef at work. In winter, you can enjoy the warmth of the fireplace, and in fine weather, you can sit out on the terrace under the mulberry trees and savor dishes with the scent of Provence. Your hosts will also serve you local dishes and introduce you to grandma's recipes prepared with fresh produce.
Traditional, old-fashioned cooking made exclusively with local, seasonal produce. Rediscover the taste of suckling pig on a spit, game depending on the hunt, calf's head or pig's trotters, and a multitude of dishes prepared according to the mood of our chef.

Cuisine soignée de bonne qualité.
Vin proposé en demi-bouteille ce qui est plutôt rare en restaurant et tour de table du chef en fin de repas ce qui est encore plus rare. Je recommande.
