PRIEURÉ DE MONTEZARGUES
A detour already justified by the site at the foot of the Black Mountain, in the heart of a forest of holm oaks and Scots pines, but especially for the successful Tavel of this Priory founded in 1199... A magnificent 34-hectare estate with a single AOC Tavel is now in the hands of a young winegrower, Guillaume Dugas, who worked at the Domaine de la Renjarde in Sérignan with his father, Alain Dugas, an emblematic figure in the Rhône Valley winegrowing landscape. Made from grapes harvested by hand and perfectly ripe (from a sandy soil covered with rolled pebbles that store heat during the day and release it at night), its rosé wine has a beautiful clear and brilliant colour and an intense nose, is an enchantment. Beautiful evolution if tasted after 2 or 3 years of ageing in the bottle.
