MANISSY CASTLE
In this seventeenth century castle, four great organic wines are produced: Tavel, Lirac, Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Côtes-du-Rhône. Florian André develops its wines with passion. At a distance between Nîmes, Avignon and Orange, the village of Tavel has a vineyard history dating back to Antiquity, and the castle of Manissy is not for nothing in this multisecular tradition. This property opens its doors and invites you to discover the former Missionary Fathers of the Holy Family, who have begun to produce wine on the estate from the beginning of the twentieth century. In the cellar, you can taste the homemade wines while listening to the history of the long winemaking process. If not all the secrets of production are unveiled (protectionism obliges), the land and the heritage of the garment will be combined with the research of Florian André, the young vine grower of Manissy, who pushes his creativity into new wines. Three wines of international renown, a range of properties of properties with monocepages as well as gastronomic or artisan products in the local area await you only to be bought in the shop and then tasted without moderation… or almost.
