MOULIN DE ROMANOU
Opened in November 2010, the mill of Romanou is a modern tool in the service of olive growers and individuals (we are leaving with its own oil from 100 kg of intake). Situated in the village of Théziers, between Nîmes and Avignon, the mill produces 3 types of oil: the "green of the garrigues", with a note of ardence, the "black of the garrigues", more gentle which develops scents of red fruit, melted butter and hazelnut, and the "picholine", very burning and high intensity. The green gold of the mill is packed in bottles, bags-in-box but also in typical pottery of the region called «consciousness», the origin of which dates back to a monastic practice of the th century. Monks of the order of beggars went home in house to beg for olive oil for the sustenance of the poor. Each one giving "according to his conscience", the pottery was baptized. The mill of Roumanou decided to return to this beautiful tradition by re-producing these original pottery. With a variety of colours, these consciences will make you feel great in your kitchen or to offer.
