Restaurant offering a traditional cuisine with a focus on market and Languedoc products
In the heart of Uzès' oldest hotel, Hostellerie Provençale, La Parenthèse restaurant appears to visitors as a warm, magical place, with its red-painted wooden façade. In this hushed setting, the table de choix is renowned. French chef François Duchesne, who cut his teeth in top-notch establishments, offers a traditional cuisine based on market and local produce, accompanied by wines from the Duchy of Uzès, the Cévennes and the Gard. We recommend a visit!

Lovely evening in a lovely place. Fantastic desserts. The only thing was that the fat on my duck was not rendered while the meat was slightly overdone, but this did not really detract from the good food overall.
