HYDRANGEA ARBORETUM
Located on the border of the Gard and Lozere, this arboretum is made up of traditional and exotic species.
The Arboretum de l'Hort de Dieu is perched at an altitude of around 1,300 metres on Mont Aigoual. Created by Georges Fabre and botanist Charles Flahault, l'Hort de Dieu, literally "God's garden", is one of ten arboretums designed by the illustrious Canourg forester in the early 20th century. Planted with both traditional and more exotic species such as sequoia, it is reached by a path starting from the Observatory. Around the chalet, the alpine garden awaits you.
