Pure and simple, a plunge into the heart of Italian gastronomy! Da Enzo is a caterer all day long - your eyes will immediately be drawn to the farandole of pastas, ready-made meals and cured meats that abound in the store - but at lunchtime it becomes a little restaurant, La Tavola d'Irena. In the midst of 100% Italian decor, with its many pictures of landscapes and green-white-and-red culinary products, gourmets can savor the house specialties. Parma ham and breadsticks or speck rolls for starters, gnocchi with gorgonzola cream, pasta carbonara, lasagne with porcini mushrooms, osso-buco for the main course: everything is made with fresh produce imported directly from the other side of the Alps. The pizzas, both calzone (with cooked ham and mozza) and four seasons (mozza, artichokes, mushrooms, cooked ham), are delicious. One senses a great deal of expertise and mastery in the blending of flavors. What's more, the waitresses are very attentive, and you can hear the Italian conversation flowing out of the kitchens.
