Tourist office offering a fitness trail and three signposted walking and cycling routes along the banks of the Rhône River.

The Villeneuve-lès-Avignon tourist office has a fitness trail and three signposted circuits of 8, 12 and 23 kilometres. Coming from Avignon, the trails can be found on the right, just past the Philippe le Bel tower. For many kilometres, you can walk or cycle along the banks of the Rhône. The starting points are opposite Place Charles-David, below the Philippe le Bel tower and at the entrance to the La Laune municipal campsite.

Personnel très aimable bien renseigné et en cette période de fêtes de fin d'année devant l'Office du tourisme le petit train pour les enfants et gratuit ainsi que le petit carrousel sur la place de la poste également gratuit et à volonté pour les enfants de 2 à 12 ans. Jusqu'au 31 décembre à Villeneuve les Avignon.

Nous avons fait la visite guidée "L'histoire de Villeneuve à travers ses monuments". Notre guide Vincent a été très intéressant et a une grande connaissance de la ville à travers les siècles. Découvert d'endroits insoupçonnés et qui ont un réel intérêt d'être vu. Pour 6€ par personne, cela a été une visite passionnante et de plus d'1h30. Nous recommandons.

Une visite des monuments s'impose ! Excellent accueil à l'office de tourisme. Navette électrique gratuite toutes les 10min pour monter à l'Abbaye et au Fort St André.
