The Mourgues hill brings together 8 hectares of natural beauty overlooking the Rhône valley.
This beautiful eight-hectare natural area overlooks the Rhone valley, with views of the Palais des Papes and Rocher des Doms, the Chartreuse, Fort Saint-André and Mont Ventoux... In recent years, the hill has been enhanced with rest and picnic areas. An amphitheatre-shaped open-air theater has even been erected with stone tiers. There are also the remains of the Petite Chartreuse hermitage and the Chapelle Notre-Dame de Consolation, with its frescoes by Albert Martin depicting St. Mark's Day.
