This hotel is a real jewel, it shines in Villevieille, near Sommières. It is a choice place for those who want to stay in a sophisticated place full of history. Indeed the origins of this building are lost in the mists of time, the first written traces of its existence date back to 1195 but archaeological authorities report a strong presumption of Roman and Gallo-Roman remains. Over the centuries, the castle has suffered the damage of time and multiple revolutions and was finally bought by the city in the 2000s. It was then bought by a private group and became a luxury four-star hotel. This charming place has a soul, an atmosphere and impeccable service. Sleeping on site is a gift in itself. We are also delighted to find the delicious restaurant of the Canopy in these walls, a real treat at all hours!
