PORT DE BOUZIGUES
The port of Bouzigues is the first stop of the Canal du Midi on the Etang de Thau. It is a typical small port of a charming and preserved village, which gave its name to the oysters produced in the pond. On the practical side, the port is composed of two basins for pleasure boating and fishing. They are accompanied by a pontoon and a quay of more than 100 meters long. It has 92 moorings for pleasure craft and 16 moorings for passing barges. The history of this port and its environment is told in the museum of the Thau Lagoon, located a few meters from the dock.
