Near the Faculty of Medicine: La Grange. Upon arrival, when you are seated, the Lozère heat makes you feel comfortable. The small room - six to seven tables - loaded with useless and bulky kitsch trinkets suggests a country house in typical rural style. A spot of identity marked by the footprint of Jacques, the restaurant owner. Here, you do not go to La Grange but Jacques' home! As for food, we will talk about gourmet hardiness. The appetizers vary according to the mood and it's a bit embarrassing. There is no regularity but we should go along with this. The homemade pâté will sometimes be sprinkled with grandma's muscat or perfumed with armagnac. The summer or winter soups are unmissable - porcini mushrooms, pumpkin, squash. The rest depends on desire and the season… Wild boar stew, snails with foie gras, cuttlefish with mushrooms - all hunted, fished, picked up under his care. Finally, chocolate mousse seems inevitable so much he is proud of it. " Feast the lamp and the eyes" is his slogan.
