Mediterranean cuisine based on fresh, local produce in a good value restaurant.

After proving himself in some fine establishments, Kevin decided to settle down at La Marine, where he welcomes us with good humor. Here, fresh produce takes pride of place. Philippe, his father, prepares and cooks fish and shellfish in the finest way. Mediterranean specialties abound: oysters au gratin with muscatel cream, fish and cuttlefish a la plancha, and chorizo crumble. The "Retour du marché" menu delighted us with its swordfish, sea bream, gambas and apricot-rhubarb gratin to finish.

Petit restaurant très accueillant, avec vu sur les bateaux de pêche. Excellent produits, de très bonne qualité, cela se ressent dans les plats, Nous y retournerons sans hésiter.

Je pensais, je ne sais pas pourquoi, que le Marie-Jean était une adresse plutôt au dessus du lot au milieu de cette alignée de restaurants s’étalant tout au long du quai Durant à Sete. Ce fut donc un peu la déception. Principalement sur le service un peu basique et les accompagnements, identiques à tous les plats que nous avons pris.
Les poissons étaient parfaitement cuits.

Très bon restaurant, où nous avons été très bien accueilli, les serveurs ont été très sympathique et à notre écoute
Seul bémol peut être le rapport quantité prix... c'est bon mais la quantité de l'accompagnement est un peu faible je pense
