LES SOURCES
Restaurant to enjoy a local cuisine for a lunch break in Mont Lozère and Goulet.
It's worth the lunch break! Just think, you have to climb 1,200 metres to find the home of the Chaptal family, who provide board and lodging for the many tourists passing through, including a number of hikers. All together, we take our seats in the large main dining room to enjoy 100% local cuisine. There's no fuss here, just what's always been prepared, starting with a plate of local charcuterie, followed by an omelette with seasonal mushrooms, frogs' legs in parsley sauce or snails cooked the way the master of the house likes them. At this point, you think it's all over. But no, there's still the boeuf bourguignon with porcini mushrooms or the duck confit, cheese and crème caramel. When you've swallowed all that, you can come back down.
