France and Didier are at the head of the establishment, at the same time restaurant, hotel** (free wifi, TV, from 52,50 € the double room, breakfast 7,50 €) and gîte (rooms from 2 to 6 people from 18 € at night). In the large restaurant room, with a view of the station, traditional cuisine is served: beautiful pork charcuterie, auvergne, tartiflette, frogs'legs, chestnut-based, coupétade, homemade pie. Here we are not skimping about quantity: Skiers and hikers have something to take back before returning to the trails or trails. The Refuge also offers fishing, pony or horse trips, and shows the wide range of activities to take advantage of the station in all seasons.

Le gîte d'étape est vieillot (a priori travaux prévus en fin de saison).
Le repas n'est pas le meilleur que nous ayons eu sur l'ensemble du GR70 ni le panier repas (reste de salade de pâtes de la veille + 1 pomme)
Repas pas forcément merveilleux mais très correct, on a bien mangé : bon steak de boeuf, bonne omelette aux cèpes... Rien à redire.
