RAID DES DOLMENS

Race of equestrian endurance, the Raid raid is in its eleventh edition! It offers its participants an online circuit of 130 kms through the lozériens landscape. Starting in Chanac, the route leads to the causse de Mende to reach Mount Lozere. From the Cross of Maître Vidal begins the descent to the site of Des, offering a magnificent view of the Cevennes and Causse Méjean, then passes through the Col de Montmirat before surplomber the gorges of the Tarn to the medieval Ferme farm. It then crosses the Causse of Sauveterre and plunges into the Lot valley to Chanac. In ten years'time, the test hosted an exceptional plateau of French, foreign, national and international riders.
