Park with terraced gardens, rose walls, Mediterranean vegetation and an impressive totem pole in Chanac.
The castle of Ressouches is located on the commune of Chanac in the Lot valley in Lozere. The terraced gardens spread out their pruned boxwood, walls of roses in full bloom in June and Mediterranean vegetation (fig trees ...) adapted to the 600 m altitude of the park. Worth seeing is the 2.50 m high totem pole sculpted by Patrice Lesage from the trunk of a majestic 200 year old oak tree that has fallen in recent years, giving it a second life.
